Surface Preparation:
5 steps to fluorozirconium-based vaporization:
– Step 1: Phosphate-free degreasing soap heated at 120°F
– Step 2: Rinsing with water
– Step 3: Rinsing with water
– Step 4: Room Temperature Fluorozirconium
– Step 5: Rinsing with deionized water followed by a second rinsing with fresh deionized water
Drying:
Convection oven, 300-350°F
Baking :
Infrared baking for a smooth finish followed by convection oven at 400-500°F for a complete baking.
Dimensions:
Our method can receive parts with the following dimensions 40 in. wide x 72 in. high x 220 in. long
Results:
Our process allows us to meet all performance specifications as described in the data sheets of the different powder coatings we use, that is to say, that if we use a polyester-based paint with hardness specifications (ASTM D- 3363 ) H- 2H and impact strength (ASTM D- 2794 ) 160 in / lbs, our process will achieve such results. For corrosion resistance, here are the results:
DESCRIPTION | DELAYS |
---|---|
Corrosion resistance on steel (polyester powder coating only) | 1000 hours |
According to ASTM B-117/ASTM D-1654 : | 8 minute result |
Corrosion resistance on steel (powder primer + Polyester powder) | 4 000 hours |
According to ASTM B-117/ASTM D-1654 : | 8 minute result |
Corrosion resistance on aluminum | 4 000 hours |
According to ASTM B-117/ASTM D-1654 : | 8 minute result |
